TTC Supplements RECAP

🎆 2018 🎆

January (Cycle #1)

February (Cycle #2)

March (Cycle #3)

  • Ubiquinol (gummies) from Jarrow Formulations (took it before ovulation only because I ran out)
  • Emulsion de Scott (Cod liver + vit A & D): 1 tbsp per day (took it before ovulation only- no particular reason)
  • DIM : every other day before ovulation and every 2 days after ovulation (trying to minimize the dose this cycle just to give my body a rest)
  • No VITEX or Prenatals mainly because I just wanted a break for my body and also since I was getting a trigger shot I did not want to risk having unknown side effects if combined.
  • I did order new prenatals from Seeking Health (chewing version) but as of CD 18 they have not arrived. This are key for women with MTHFR as the have methylfolate and folinic acid. Honestly, all women (regardless if you have MTHFR or not) you should be taking this prenatal and avoiding any with FOLIC ACID as this is simply the synthetic version which is crap if you ask me.

April (Cycle #4)

  • DIM : every other day before ovulation and every 2 days after ovulation but nothing after ovulation since I just found out that Berberine can cause uterus contractions so you should avoid after ovulation.
  • Seeking Health Prenatals (chewing version)
  • Bioray Liver Life I take 3 droppers almost every day (some days I skip) before ovulation. This has been the key for my cervical mucus!
  • Progesterone in suppository form, 200mg 2 x day.

May (Cycle #5)

  • DIM : every 2-3 days before ovulation. I lowered my intake since I took progesterone last cycle, then my estrogen dominance should be lowered therefore less DIM should be needed.
  • Seeking Health Prenatals (chewing version)
  • Bioray Liver Life I take 3 droppers almost every day (some days I skip) before ovulation. This has been the key for my cervical mucus!
  • Seeking Health Optimal PC Liquid (soy-free formula) take 2 drops because the liquid version is powerful. There is a lower dose version in soft gels but since I don’t do pills, then I take this liquid version. I added this to my protocol since a few micronutrient tests I did in the past (actually a while back) both showed I am deficient in Choline which is key for many functions but definitely a key player for sustaining pregnancy and having a healthy baby. I didn’t add it before because I really just ignore it but now that I’ve been learning more and more, Choline is one nutrient you should not be missing if you are suffering from infertility. I will write more about this in my blog.
